I am just not getting all this 'best goal in years' talk. It was a nice goal, but whatever.

Oh, and it's just wrong to call it the Forsberg - especially when the way he did it, and the extension, were far more reminiscent of Zhamnov (who was doing it before Forsberg).

What goals have been better recently? The only one I can think of was Hemsky's from last season. That one was pretty amazing as well.

Yeah, Hemsky's is definitely one example.

I forgot that Rick Nash used to be good at hockey.

Best thing about the Tarasenko goal is Nash getting embarrassed, and then just standing there and watching it happen.

He's off to a real good start, but he did the same thing last year too. He'll slow down. He always does.

Its looking likely that the NHL will adopt what the AHL is doing right now in terms of overtime/shootouts.
I would like the return of ties. The regular season is a test to see who are the best teams for playoff admittance. Shoot-outs, 4 on 4 or 3 on 3, have no relation to playoff hockey.

That might be true, but he has looked great so far.

He scored 26 goal in 65 games last year, so he was still on pace for 35ish goals.

Two years ago, he had 21 goals in 44 games.

I think he has the potential to get 40 goals this year.

I don't know why I don't like Rick Nash.

And neither do ties.

Aren't you an Oilers fan? What the hell would you know about playoff hockey?
