Edit: so I checked - Chicago is 26th in the league with 2.25 G/GP. Wow. Only Carolina, Winnipeg, Florida and Buffalo are worse.
A lot of concerns with the Offense in Chi...League leading in SOG, but in 11 games played, only 3 games of scoring more than 2 goals (Buffalo, Philly, Ottawa)! Teams have been sagging and taking away the low slot, so, off the cycle, the only open looks are from the perimeter...a lot of possession, a lot of perimeter shots, not many second chance opportunities. Only Andrew Shaw, and the line of Smith/Kruger/whatever LW that just escaped Q's doghouse get to the blue paint much. None of those guys are big, or great finishers. Also, by collapsing all 5 down, the tried and true 'Hawk method of activating from the blueline is denied shooting lanes.
Q is scrambling lines madly, and that too, is disrupting rhythm and flow...
Lastly, the 'Hawk forwards are pressing, and this shows by the amount of shots that ping off the iron...they are trying to be too fine. (tonight alone, Sharp beat Hutchinson twice, but, one post, one crossbar, was all he could hit).

I can't believe the Jets goaltending has done a complete 180, in the last few games. Time will tell if Pavelec can hold the momentum, but I definitely like what I see from Hutchinson. If only the Jets offence can start to get some pucks into the net, we may have a chance at the post season.

They should really just call up Teuvo already.
