I do too, but I'm too lazy to debate it here.
But, he is way better then Reto Berra.... I kind of want to pull a heist on Colorado and see if we can get something sweet for Hiller or Ramo if Varlamov is gone for a while.

If Varlamov is out for an extended period, the Avs season is in serious jeopardy IMO. I don't think Berra will keep them competitive, and Brodeur isn't an upgrade either.

I love Ramo and Hiller... but with Berra injured now too, we could absolutely fleece them.
I can't think of another team that actually could spare a GOOD goalie but us. I don't think either goalie would be too upset with the Flames if they moved him to a starting job in Colorado either.
Edit:
Forgot about the Wild...

Varlamov on injured list and Berra run over and out of the game 2 mins in in Ottawa. Calvin Pickard, who just flew in, now in his 1st game.

Maybe, but I'm sure they'd be far more interested in Harding, Kuemper, Hiller or Ramo first. Fall back to Bryzgalov if the asking price for those 4 are too steep.
Bryzgalov has shown absolutely zero ability to be reliable...ever. So I'd bet Colorado would struggle with him if they did have to settle on him.

And now Berra is injured. Not good for the Avs.

Draft Pick

This would be the time to sell high, while both goalies are lighting it up, be fantastic to turn one of them into a long term asset.

Alot of advanced stat analysts were calling for a big regression to the mean for Colorado this year questioning whether they'd even make the playoffs. Going to be very difficult to make it out of that division honestly.
Minnesota
Chicago
St. Louis
Dallas
All powerhouses
Looking more and more likely now although Berra being out is more addition by subtraction.
At least this will save me from the vomit inducing cheering for the Avalanche by desperate Iginla-fans this spring.

I'd be all for trading Ramo/Hiller if we got a good piece back. If we could get Berra back in the deal, that would be hilarious.
Berra + 2nd for Ramo/Hiller?
