Not the friendliest of people in my experience...sometimes downright obnoxious actually.
My grandfather used to make pocket money doing that back a century, lighting fires for Jewish families.
I don't understand the morality myself, if god doesn't want you to light a fire it's because god doesn't want you to have a fire, getting some goyam to do it doesn't make it ok.

It's not God not wanting you have a fire, it's you're not allowed to do work, making things = work, so your ablidging by not working but a non believer can still work if they want.

Usually actually, in my experiences anyway. Any flight I've been on where there is a large number of Hasidic Jews has been either annoying, bemusing, or entertaining depending on how their antics affect me or the mood of my wife.

They even annoy most regular Jews.

Paying someone else to do something is still work, it still gets around what god wants (assuming you believe) which is to do nothing but think of him.
It's a sophists arguement otherwise, no different than Islamic temporary
'marriages' to enable prostitution.

It's no different than the plastic bag wearing, polyethylene is a wonderful material, lightweight waterproof but it doesn't protect you from evil spirits or spiritual impurity, if you are not supposed to go over a burial place you don't get to fly, end of story.

I wouldn't mind the religious if they actually followed their own rules, but none of them do, they just want everyone else to follow them.
