Almost 6" sized screen? Awesome. Where do I sign? Was thinking about a Note 4, but I'm thinking I'm going from my Nexus 5 to a Nexus 6 (X). Hope the specs hold true.

Someone on reddit photoshopped the Shamu next to a Nexus 5 for size comparisons. Frick this will be big

If the 6 is going to be that big, I am glad I got a 5.
For me, the 5 inch screen is big enough

I'm fine with the size of my nexus 5, but I'll be tempted to upgrade just for the bigger battery on the new nexus.

Oneplus has almost the same battery on a 5.5" screen. Current king of batteries outside of the xperia z3

I like bigger phones, but if it dwarfs a G3 then that's a little too much I think. 5.5" seems to be the sweet spot, I can comfortably operate my OnePlus with one hand, but any bigger and it would be a challenge

I don't see it in the stats, but will I be able to slide in my microSIM from my Nexus 5 into it and bob's your uncle?

If they are the same size, which I am pretty sure they are than yes, that's all you need to do.

I don't want to go over 5" phones, although they do gain screen space from slimming down the bezels in each generation. 6 just seems huge though.

I wonder if (hope) that Google perhaps announces the big Nexus X, but then also announces a more reasonable-sized phone. I would probably jump at something unlocked and in the ballpark of 5", but 6" is just way too big. I think that they'd be losing a huge segment of potential customers by going full-on phablet only.

My suspicion would be no to a new smaller screen device. There will likely be no new phone but probably a refreshed Nexus 5 with expanded memory and flash. There is no reason that you start offering a Nexus free display replacement program unless you have a glut of inventory on hand and plan to have it for a longer term going forward. This doesn't make sense to start at the end of a phone's life time unless you plan on extending it no?

I'd be fine with a refreshed Nexus 5. I just hope that it doesn't get discontinued, but as you point out, it would be a strange time to introduce free screen replacements on a soon-to-be-discontinued phone.
I suppose I'll wait and see - it seems that an announcement should be coming sometime in October.

As far as I know the N5 has already been discontinued. Will look for the article.
I love the N5. I would love to see a similar phone with better specs.

Hmmmm...Much more rounded on the corners than I like. Wish they would have stayed with the Nexus 5 look. More square. Not sure I like those rounded corners. Hopefully not an exact pic.
