Baertschi with Jooris and Jones at the moment. So maybe that theory is hogwash.

Great power move by Colborne almost turns into a goal.

Baertschi with Granlund and Jones now.
Smith with a nice read and pass on a 2 on 1, should have been a goal.

Kristen Hallett is distractingly good looking.

Diaz with a bomb goal from Stajan. 3-0 now.

Coaching staff must be hammering into Colborne's head to take the puck to the net hard. Seems like every time he has it below the hashmarks he's just charging to the net....it's great to see. Will create lots of chances for his linemates. He could have a great year!

Baertschi draws a penalty being hooked, would have scored otherwise.

Hathaway with a nice play almost set Baertschi up for a goal, they work it around and Granlund rifles a pass to Culkin crashing in for a beauty goal.

4-0

I get the feeling Diaz is going to be a full time Flame this year. Cloutier seems very high on him and hes been noticeable in a good way from the sounds of it.

Sounds like Sven is pretty good today. Would that be a fair assessment AC?

Stajan looks great, winning every battle. Jooris continues to impress too, relentless on the forecheck.

Yeah he's looked the best out of the bubble forwards. He also has real linemates.

Gaudreau has his flashes but not as consistent. Got hemmed in his own zone for a long shift recently. Still finished it up by finding a dman pinching in for a good chance.

David Jones with a surprisingly nice goal, took it out from the corner and out waits McDonald for a backhand goal.

Wolf battling in front gets a nice tip but McDonald grabs it.

Bollig with a bad turnover to start that.

2nd game is pretty uneventful so far.

Ferland - Mono - Hudler a line looking decent.

Diaz with a great move at the blueline to open a lane and snaps it in. Tipped possibly.

1-0 Black.

Glenny with a breakaway after Smid fumbles a bouncing puck, but it got snagged by the goalie. Carr or Thiesen, can't tell.
