If that's the case, I'm glad I got out of dodge when I did, or there would've been some long lonely nights in my 20s!
Having thought about it, I think what you need is a Jeep Wrangler.
It not only fits and projects the lifestyle you already take part in, but EVERYONE loves Jeeps. Girls, dudes, moms, dads..how can you not smile when you see a cool Jeep (especially when its used for its intended purpose)? They are outdoorsy and masculine, but somehow without the dbag factor that you can sometimes get with certain trucks. And there's a strong online/offline community so you might even meet a few people that way. They do have a terrible ride on the roads though, but thats the price to pay.
But you can't get a Rogue or Santa Fe as a 25 year old. That would just be wrong.

I could be wrong but it sounds like you're looking to do two things - buy a vehicle and meet girls, and you're looking to buy a vehicle that will attract girls.
As someone else suggested you could buy a vehicle that suits your lifestyle best and then you'll most likely meet a girl by accident while doing the things you like to do.
I wouldn't worry about the image you project. Worry about being you and having fun doing what you like to do. Girls can spot a fake from a mile away so if you try to be something you're not, they'll pick up on it right away.

It doesn't matter what you drive, just get "Pantie Dropper" lettered on the back window. You will not be able fend of the girls.
*Not my idea, I saw it a pic of this on someones twitter yesterday, it was on a Honda Civic or similar type car.
You could also get a stick figure of yourself and two women on the back window. That way they will know you like to party and always DTF.

Nah, I know none of the vehicles I'm looking at will specifically attract girls, and as others have posted, I'm not looking for the types of girls who are interested in a guy just for his car. Maybe I wrote this poorly, as several other posters seem to think this is what I mean. I'm not that shallow, nor am I interested in girls that are that shallow.
I just don't want to be buying a chick repellant.
I do think many other posters underestimate how judgmental many young women can be about this though, the reason I posed the questions is because I have heard many young women voice negative opinions about hatchbacks and wagons. My parents have a 2008 Toyota Matrix and a 2013 Kia Sorento. Whenever I drive the Sorento people are impressed and ask if it's mine, and comment what a nice car it is. When I drive the Matrix I certainly don't get any of that, and a few times when I have picked up a female friend and I make some comment on liking driving this car (I think the Matrix is a great little car!) they look at me like "are you serious?".

Who cares what spoiled girls who have never earned anything in their lives think. You need to stop caring what they think, odd as it sounds its a huge turnoff for women. You are at the age now where you're coming into your own. If you don't find a girl, don't sweat it. The next few years if you're smart and ambitious things will go your way. Late twenties to early thirties is when the cream rises to the top. Don't get sucked into thinking you need to own things to impress people. If you like nice things, buy them, but do it for yourself and no one else.

Keeping on the Jeep theme that Table 5 mentioned, have you looked at the new 2015 Jeep Cherokee? I would personally way rather have that then the Sante Fe or Rogue, and seems fairly similar to Outback.
Personally I still have my 2000 Jeep Cherokee that I absolutely love so I'm a little bias, but the 2015 still has the bones of a trail rated Jeep, but you don't have to fill up every 500km anymore. Also the fact that they got rid of the god-awful Liberty to bring the Cherokee back is reason enough to love the Cherokee.

You should buy a Kia Soul or a Honda Cube. I've literally never seen a man in one.
Seriously, buy whatever the hell you want.

Why did they have to ruin a perfectly nice design with that god-awful grill?

Fair enough. I gotta say though that even if you are having trouble with the ladies right now, when you turn it around, her parents are going to love you.
Get the Subaru. That sounds like what you want, and it's cooler than the other two. Get a black one. With a sunroof and a good stereo.

I hated that grill as well when I saw pictures but after seeing it in person it actually looks pretty sleek with the whole design. Definitely not for everyone though.

Yeah, even some of the pics online do it more justice, after I searched it.

Those are not the same car. Your photo is a Grand Cherokee while his is the Cherokee. Slight difference in name but totally different cars.

Buying a vehicle to attract girls is useless unless you have the cash to back it yo. The kind of girl into fancy cars also wants jewelry, dinners, etc..
Of those three cars you've listed, the outback is in a different class. Way more fun to drive. Way more versatile. But more expensive. The outback actually has some sporty cred. The other two are underpowered suburbanite SUV econoboxes.
Although not the greatest on gas, an Outback with a luxury package is a comfy ride that is really fun to drive. If I had 40k to blow on a car that'd be my choice.
In that range the cadillacs are nice. I'd also look at Volvos and Acuras.

I drive a Matrix. It's boring, reliable, cheap, and useful for someone who only drives 10k a year. Nothing enjoyable about driving it.
An Outback with 4wd is an entirely different experience. Lumping all cars with a hatchback together is ridiculous.

The funny thing is that once you have kids.... you'll have the same dilemna, only you'll be lusting after one of these cross overs instead of a minivan, even though the minivan is far more roomy and practical.
I keep telling the anti-minivan guys in the office (usually 35-40ish guys) - if you think the 22 yr old hottie receptionist is going to ride your magic stick just because you drive a Ford Edge over a Toyota Sienna.... you keep dreaming that. You need a 911 or at least an F360 to pull that off.
