Well made it closer than it needed to be in the 4th but a pretty nice win considering DeRozan and Lowry were both awful shooting.

Good road game today. Tough first half for defense, but picked up the rebounding second half.

They really seemed to take care of the ball as well. Nice to see them beating the Magic yet again. Hopefully Miami is next!

The two victories to me were not well played. The loss last night naturally followed as they played a better team. They are not playing as hard as last year. PP has been horrible. Ross is meh. Rebounding is lacking intensity and results.

Early on and they are on the positive side of the ledger so far but I hope they get their act together soon.

Yeah, the bench has been a disappointment so far (especially after I predicted that it would be one of their big advantages). JJ is the only bench guy who's really making a big impact, although I give Hansbrough credit for hustling and giving his all, its just that his all isn't that big a factor. Vasquez, Williams, and Patterson all need to really pick it up.

I'm on board with all the comments so far. They seem out of sync and don't have that intensity. They really should, considering it's almost the exact same team as last year. Give them a couple more games and we should find out if it's a trend or not.

What does JV need to do to get more minutes than PP or AJ?

Imagine your team being 3-1 and yet you know they are winning ugly, ugly ugly. Last night was the worst of all. OKC with both their big stars out and they struggle to beat them. Lowry is still on vacation on both ends. Is it going to take some big losses for them to wake up?

Big Raps win in Boston. Lowry 35 points. Toronto now leads the Eastern conference.

Lowry at $12 million a year to 2018 is why Masai is a genius. Definitely their most important player, sorry DeMar.

- Demar needs to stop shooting 20+ times a game, he only made 9/25 today and thats awful for the offence. He needs to contribute more in other ways and pick his scoring opportunities wisely. He does an excellent job bringing attracting doubles and making the defence collapse, but most of the time he just refuses to give up the ball.

- Amir and Val are so important to this team the Raps got out-rebounded by 31 in this game. Patterson and Hansborugh are just awful on the boards.

- Ross just hasn't been the same player ever since the playoff series started in Brooklyn. He needs his confidence back.

- So far this team just doesn't give me the positive vibe I got from last years team. On offence they seem stagnant and on defence they look lost.

EDIT: Forgot this, but Lowry so far is the best PG in the east.

The negativity seems awfully strong for a 4-1 team. They really haven't hit their stride yet but they've managed to start well anyway. I think that is a very positive sign.

^I know they've played 5 games but they should be 6-0 in those games.

Yeah, I see more positives than negatives. The ridiculously good turnover numbers (5 straight games with 10 or fewer turnovers, longest streak to start a season in nba history), good second-half defense, 2nd best in the league at getting to the line, those are all big positives. I think their passing has been really good, but poor shooting (especially on clean looks from 3, by usually good shooters) has lead to some overpassing. Shooting percentages will come around, and assists will go up as a result. Rebounding was fine until Amir went out. The bench has been better the last couple games. The first half defense continues to be the only thing that worries me.

First, please go back to these unis full time, they are awesome. Speaking of awesome, Terrence Ross just a little on fire. Going for 50 again?

Apparently the Raptors are using "Northern Touch" as their intro song. Damn this team makes it easy to root for them, easiest Canadian team to root for in a while.
