Yup, it's coming into it's own and I now officially enjoy this POS show because it never pretended it to be anything but what it is. The difference is that the writers and producers are finally understanding how to tell a story and how to put it together. For those of you who don't understand what it's like try just writing a story and plan the shoot and then make it. Post it here and we will comment on it (he he he). You'll develop a whole new appreciation for TV. The only part they still don't know what they are doing with, and they created this mess, are the animals. There are supposed to be zombie animals if a dog can turn.

Yeah, I'm not sure they thought out the whole thing that everything turns right away. Does that mean that Citizen Z is in trouble for eating a rare steak? Is there no eating of meat unless it's a fresh kill? I suppose that could be what the "black summer" refers to. However it also doesn't explain how the school bus full of kids all turned instantly.

I did like the ending of the last episode, as it left a few things open for the viewer. Did Warren just imagine her husband there? Or was he really there? If he was, was he a zombie already and got blown away? Or did he stay on top of her to save her, and somehow died? (Which is why we see him wandering at the end.)

The zombie kills are still keeping me coming back, but what is with Citizen Z?
Did he imagine the cosmonaut? More imaginary friends is not a good sign.

Also laughed at the suggestion that the zunami originated from a refugee camp in Alberta and is migrating south for the winter LOL.

Yes, it was imagination. The complex was filling carbon monoxide, and when the CO alarm went off he smashed it with a broom. The rest was his brain trying to tell him about the problem.

Ahhhh, thought it was proximity alarm and he couldn't see anything nearby.
Makes sense now.

If anybody hasn't watched this week's episode- don't bother. I'll save you an hour.

Spoiler!

Ya, they should really stay away from the "clever" writing and just keep doing what they are learning how to do.

That was hands down the worst episode by far, and its not like this series is setting a high bar to begin with. Just brutal, I ended up fast forwarding through most of it.

Season 2 arrived 6 weeks ago and this series is super fun. They have kept the campy cheese AND got a boost in budget! I'm laughing pretty hard at some of the ridiculous settings and amusing characters. The camera work is much better too!

The show is stupid on so many levels but I still like it, good entertainment and I laugh quite a bit as well. Will keep watching.

I stopped watching within an episode or two of the dream within the dream within the dream. Where are they now? Are they still trying to get Murphy to a lab? Or is there more to his powers now?

Team discovers one of the vaccine labs. Obviously massive crimes against human decency were committed by a team of nefarious scientists. Murphy loses his cool, launches a nuclear strike against various government facilities around the world. Finishes shedding his skin, turns out a sort of mute ice blue and can control zombies telepathically.

The budget increases made the effects a heck of a lot better, and thus, the whole show more enjoyable.

The last episode that I watched had a sort of homage to Mad Max where the crew joins a big rig trying to run a gauntlet of mutated zombies and bandits to a refugee camp in Edmonton. Surprisingly, not bad.
