I have to admit I'm not a big fan of any of the current Flames jerseys, really miss the retro look and was hoping they were going to bring the white one back too.

I honestly thought they were going to introduce a white version of our 3rd. It would have been nice for them to have shown us a peek at the future of the Flames designs, but I thought it'd have been more likely that they adopt our 3rd and make a white version.

Realistically, this disappointment makes the most sense.

Remove the cowboy shoulders and those would be very nice jerseys.

Really? You complain about ugly jerseys then pull out the cowboy shirt jersey as the basis for Adirondack? The cowboy jersey is the ugliest of ugly jerseys around. It almost makes some of the Vancouver jerseys look good. I'll echo the sentiment of others, the '89 Cup jersey should be the basis of all current and future Flames jerseys.

The problem with ^this^ jersey is that it is virtually identical to Adirondack's rivals' jersey:

If you read any of the post you quoted, I was stating what I thought they'd do; not what I was super-duper hoping we'd see.

However, for the record, I don't think the cowboy jersey is one bit ugly. It's unique, which offends some people, I'm not a fan of the script and the '5' is quite odd... but a 3rd jersey allows teams the opportunity to try something wild and new. I like the concept of the cowboy shoulder and the colours and striping are fine. I don't own one, and it's not my all-time favourite... but I wouldn't call it ugly.

That's a really good point. Forgot that was who they were replacing.

Generally, AHL jerseys are awful.

I think it's better than Omaha, Quad Cities, and Abbotsford.

It's almost like this organization has no taste. It is EXTREMELY tacky to use the American flag in any design.

The US Flag Code:

The flag should not be used as part of a costume or athletic uniform, except that a flag patch may be used on the uniform of military personnel, firefighters, police officers, and members of patriotic organizations.

It specifically states athletic uniform as one of the two no no examples. Nice work guys.

Makes me scared for a new arena design.
