19-17 for McMaster in the 4th, Montreal just got a touchdown to close the gap. Another great CIS game, sold out stadium in Montreal, over 20,000. Awesome atmosphere.

Montreal wins off a blocked kick with 1 minute to go! 23 seconds to go, needed 6 inches for the first down to win it, they just get the first down. Unbelievable finish. 20-19 win.

Darn - lead most of the game only to lose it on that play.

It is going to be interesting to see if Rene Parades keeps his job next year or if Tyler Crampigna gets the job after his stellar CIS career.

@FarhanLaljiTSN: Blake Nill is the new head football coach at UBC, leaving the U of Calgary.

That's a huge grab for UBC. Finally should get that program to be competitive since it's been in disarray for a while.

Now UCalgary taking a step back with this loss. Wonder who they'll replace him with?

Wonder how much Nill will get paid at UBC? Can't see him leaving a really strong program at UofC without some other significant perk, unless he's looking for a new challenge.

Surprised to see Nill leave UofC. Thought he'd stick around for a few more years. Maybe thinks he's reached his expiration date with the Dinos given he's been here for a while? Team failed to take a step forward this year. I wonder if Buratto will be the next HC?

Interesting developments with the Dinos. Next year really is going to be their last chance at the Vanier Cup for a few years. By this time of year they usually have 6-10 guys committed already for next season, they have 0 right now. They need a guy like Colton Hunchak to commit so they have a succession plan after Buckley is done (which could still be this year, he's applied to Medicine).

Perhaps a Local suggestion.

ND High School coach Dave Diluzio has been extremely successful winning championships in the past 6 years with a different group of kids each year.
Close ties to The Calgary Colts, Stampeders and the U of C.
Diluzio coached Nill's son in Midget.
Losing Nill is a huge blow to the Dino's regardless, he came in and in a short period of time he completely rebuilt the program from a 3-4 wins a year team to a Western powerhouse.

My boss is friends with Nill (his son played for him at St Mary's). He was thinking Nill was going to eventually go back to Mary's to build that program up again and was surprised to hear he is going to UBC. It does seem like Nill likes to build programs from the ground up

The only issue with Dave was that he was absolutely terrible at recruiting kids to play for the Colts.

Steve Burrato was named interim head coach of Dinos. He does want the full-time head coaching job so U of C Dinos are taking application for the job. Former Stampeder Wayne Harris Jr is interested in the job.

I went to St Mary's. Their program has been in the toilet since Nill left. When he left, he said he just wanted to go home to Calgary. Odd that he's leaving Calgary.

Apparently UBC is paying him 200k. That seems like a pretty good reason to leave.

It does, as long as he doesn't want to buy a house in the city....
