Remember Iginla had something like 11 goals in his second year. I am expecting the same for Monahan.

Boom: Ramo and Hiller.
Bust: Monahan, Glenncross
I think we will have solid goaltending all season long. But offense will be a problem and our top goalscorers from last season will take a step back.

Boom
Mark Jankowski. It's time for him to have a huge breakout year. I think he'll be over a point per game this season.
Mikael Backlund. Expect that he'll put up 25 goals and 50 points. Not unrealistic at all, but it would be great to finally see it happen.
Emile Poirier. Will be one of the best rookies in the AHL, will probably spend most of the year in the AHL but get called up later in the season.
Bust
Kris Russell. I think he regresses a bit, and he's already a borderline bottom pairing guy (at least he would be on a good team).
Max Reinhart. Doesn't take the next step towards being a full time NHL player, but has another great AHL year.

Depends on what you class boom and bust as? If boom and bust are in comparison of last year then I would say:
Boom- Setoguchi , Wideman, Jones and Glencross
Bust- Gio, Backlund, Monahan ( those 3 had very good years last year. Them not playing quite as well as last year is a real possibility )

Boom: Johnny Hockey scores at an unreal clip and is a Calder finalist. Setoguchi finds new life in Calgary with a 20-ish goal season (and a new contract, here or elsewhere?.. who knows), Glencross rebounds in time for a new contract as well.
Bust: David Jones quickly becomes irrelevant and one of Granlund or Baertschi takes his place on the roster later in the season. Engelland proves to be a $3 million dollar waste, and is pushed out by Wotherspoon for periods of time. I can see Ramo being pushed out by Hiller and not fairing well in the net competition, don't know why. I hope he continues to be a factor, but I could see Ortio swooping in and grabbing a spot after the season.
Meh: Raymond, Stajan, Wideman, Bollig
Others keep up the strong work ethic and more or less replicate the previous season. Backlund continues to be reliable, Hudler again is a top playmaker on offense, Gio takes a small step back but not enough to be a bust, TJ Brodie does more of what he's been doing, and of course looks good.

BOOM, Non-NHL: Bennett and Klimchuk lead Canada back to the top of the podium at the World Juniors
BUST: Hiller (I think Ramo will get more starts, and post better numbers)
