Theory out there is that James is playing headgames with his teammates (particularly Irving and Waiters) to try and get them to pass more.

Is Kobe Bryant just trolling everyone at this point seeing how ridiculous he can be before someone says something or he is really this delusional to think that him jacking up 24 shots a night while shooting 30% is a good idea and best way to help his team?
He is supposed to have some basketball IQ and even with his ego he has to understand he is playing into every negative thing said about him and tarnshing his legacy at this point.

Kobe on his way to scoring 60. The Lakers are on their way to losing by 40. All-time amazing if it happens.

Blazers are doing some things.
8-3 on the young season, 8 of those games have been at home. They've been able to overcome a couple of injuries, and stage some big 4th quarter comebacks. Their bench seems to be a bit deeper with Kaman and Blake, and they're playing some good defense in crunch time.
It's probably a recipe for wearing down through the long season, but I'll take it for now.

I think Philly might be going 3-79 this year. I mean Edmonton is no good but the Sixers are something else.

6 for 22?
How long will this jackass keep chucking to try and get "his"?
He has always been a horrible teammate but this year Kobe is taking selfishness to a whole new level.

Maybe we need a Philadelphia is no good thread. 0-17, one away from the record. I'd say to look at the schedule for a W maybe, but does it matter? I said 3-79 and I think that might be within about 2 games...either way. 1-81 would be so amazing.

East gets weaker, West gets stronger. Rajon Rondo is off to Dallas in exchange for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and picks. Dallas looks great on paper, but still a first round exit possibility. The Western Conference playoffs are gonna be brutal next year.

Kevin Durant was on his way to a legendary night last night with 30 points in 19 minutes (!!!), and then he rolls his ankle. Disappointing, would have loved to see him make a run at 70 points.

I saw this embarrassing flopping on TV. Spurs Tony Parker barely touched this Orlando player by the free throw line. Parker is not that big and this Orlando is much bigger and he amazingly went down hard so hard all the way close to the player's bench. That's ridiculous!! I think it is time for every league (NBA, NHL, NFL and others) to start suspending this floppers. I guess all these divers and floppers been watching way too much soccer games. Speaking of soccer flops, i saw this guy hold the opponent's hand and used it to slapped himself in his face.
Correction : (thanks to Senator Clay Davis)
It was actually against Charlotte not Orlando Magic.. see Senator's post below.

It was Charlotte actually but yeah, worst of the year and certainly one of the worst ever. Suspension worthy IMO

So Klay Thompson just scored the most points in a single quarter in the history of the NBA.
37. 37 points in the 3rd quarter against SAC.

Slow deadline day overall, with Afflalo to Portland being the only significant trade so far. But a few big things on the burner, include Brook Lopez for Reggie Jackson, maybe Dragic to the Lakers. Also Minnesota pushing for a KG for Thad Young trade, but Garnett has a full no-trade clause, so he'd need to approve it.

So much for being slow, lots of last second trades. It seems like about a dozen point-guards changed teams today: Dragic, Thomas, MCW, Jackson, Augustin, Knight, Ennis, Schved, Priglioni, Cole, Miller, Sessions, Canaan, probably a couple others that I missed.

Yeah that was a wild finish to the deadline. The Bucks trading Brandon Knight to get Carter-Williams is very bizarre. Knight has been very good this year, putting up better numbers than Dragic even.
