Kiprusoff was bigger to the Flames in 2004 than Iginla.

Jamie would probably vote for Kipper also.

By far the greatest Flame to ever put on a jersey

GOAT!

Since there's really nothing to debate here, I'll just take this moment to point out that there is exactly 783,000 miles of difference between "pole" and "poll."

Sucks to wear the same number as Kipper in a poll like this...

I'm actually a little shocked no clowns have voted for Macoun yet. Maybe Kiprusoff was just THAT good.

By far? I have hard time deciding if Kipper was even the best goalie the Flames ever had (toss-up with Vernon?).

They better legit retire Kipper's number.

He's easily the best goalie we ever had. Masked a whole lot of rot in this organization for a long time.

Just looked at the franchise stats. Kipper certainly has the edge in regular season stats, Vernon in the playoffs (wins). Vernon also played in an era with higher scoring, and I imagine his back-ups played more often.
Vernon played on a better team.

Vernon had the advantage of playing for the Flames when they were really good. Kiprusoff made a bad team look good for the better part of a decade.

From what we've been told they won't and it's an absolute embarrassment that the Flames have decided to not retire numbers. They didn't retire the Conn Smythe trophy winner from 1989!? If you retire Lanny and Vernon how on earth do you decide to change the tradition and come up with this forever a flame schtick?! I like the Flames organization for several reasons but this decision really bothers me. It's bush league.
If Kipper's jersey doesn't hang from the rafters at some point there is something seriously wrong with ownership.

I think C4L was talking about Kipper's penis.

I am a little bit surprised that the vote, at the time of my post, is 188-0. Not that I didn't think Kipper wouldn't win convincingly, but some posters seemed really upset that Kiprusoff didn't waive his no-trade clause at the end of the 2013 lockout shortened season. Glad to see that people decided to forgive and forget.

Some, but not many. It would have been way more people that got annoyed if it was anyone but Kipper. For some reason, it was just totally a Kipper move and most people were cool with it.

I don't function well with only 3 hours of sleep in almost 3 days (total). Poll, Pole, Penis.. at this point, just glad I got something that started with P (or pee.. wait, what are we discussing again?).
