Well, our version of Dragon's Den was based on the British (BBC) version which was based on the Japanese version which was, technically, first.

I was not aware of that. However i perfer that theirs is the knock off because they also stole a dragon.

No it appears the natives called the berries Saskatoons and the city was named after the berry.

It's probably a lost cause though, since for example, with American propoganda everyone now refers to the United States as America. The USA is no more America than Peru is.
