I like to attend them, but I'm sure if they are left open for the publi to buy I could get them cheaper then what I do now even with the season ticket holders discount.

As a STH I'd like to have the option to not pay for preseason tickets, but I'm guessing if they didn't, they'd just move that cost to the price of the regular tickets. They could sell the preseason tickets to non STHs at a discount. I'm guessing they have a targeted number for ticket revenue, and they will get to it by one formula or another.
