He hasn't played a single pro game in North America. I'll still consider him a prospect for at least this season.

Voted Hanowski again. I think he's the most NHL ready of the players left although Hickey and Wolf deserve consideration as well. Hickey is just too far away (4 - 6 years) for me and who knows where Wolf will fit in.

Hickey has to play against a higher level of competition before I have any idea of what we've got. He'll do so this upcoming season in college.

Absolutely. But he is also four years younger than David Wolf.

IIRC Granlund played two years in the Finnish men's league as a junior ager and one year in the AHL making his pro experience, three years.

I know exactly where Wolf fits into the Flames.

He will get called up if Bollig gets injured or suspended, so the Flames will still have a backup goon when McGrattan is in the box or ejected.

The Flames are going to punch a lot of faces this year.

I'm OK with that, but I have very little patience for nut-job players like Wolf.

Disagree. I think the Flames want him in the line up whether Bollig is there or not. I understand his youtube profile is mostly face punching, but at the prospects camp he showed he had NHL quickness, and with a high work ethic could still make a solid third liner. IMO he is being under sold on CP based on his over aggressiveness, I think a lot of fans will be pleasantly surprised when they see that Wolf is a competent NHLer even with his gloves on.

Hickey, he reminds me a lot of Brodie.

We also have Engelland as another face puncher, so I could see not needing Wolf.

after we win the cup, everyone's going to want face punchers. It will be the trendiest of trends.

Hickey for me has the potential left, according to everything I read anyways. Might be voting Rafikov next - a mean, physical, tough to play against defensive D with very solid puck moving skills and offence? Hmm.. maybe I should have selected him ahead of Hickey this round actually.

Brandon Hickey again for me because of aforementioned skating and upside.

Went with Wolf, I think he'll actually make the team this year

I would be surprised if Wolf doesn't at least see a handful of games this season for the Flames. If McGrattan, Bollig, or Bouma gets hurt he would get heavy consideration as the next call-up.

A top 4 defenseman is worth 3 Wolfs. Easy to pick Hickey here.

Damn, I meant to go Hickey, but chose Matsson...we'll see if that makes a difference

So, what's to like about Acolatse?

My vote is up for grabs

Wouldn't' mind hearing more about any other guys left on the list actually, we're starting to get to unknown territory.
