I might be alone in this, but I really didn't like Galiardi. I feel he went down too easily on far too many occasions. Glad to not have that on the team.
Contract is about right. He's been bouncing around a few teams now. If he can't prove that he can contribute something on a regular basis he might end up an AHL veteran/'tweener for the rest of his career.
Actually, he's probably a 'tweener right now. Wish him all the best despite having a miserable year with the Flames.

You are not alone in this. I did not like him at all last year. One poster on here said it best... "I have never seen anyone skate so hard and do absolutely nothing".
Good luck to him in Winnipeg he seems like a good person.

I meant it more as I think he's a bit of a diver, but this is true as well.

This is so true. He may as well have been doing laps out there. He worked his tail off, but just didn't have any effect on the game whatsoever.
It's interesting that a player like Galliardi, who I think is rightfully seen as not yet having
"made it" has already played 283 NHL games, which gives him a longer career than 66% of retired NHL players.

I kept thinking he should of started a charity like Hartnell down.with the exact same concept as Hartnell's.

Like Stempniak and Butler he could have made millions more if he was willing to sign for a different team.
Predicting it now, I think he'll have decent success in Winnipeg. Earn himself a bonafide-NHLer contract and then become a goat for the next couple years.
