I went with Housley here. His time here was weird to me. He came in at the very start of the 'dark era'. To me, he was always more Gary Suter then Chopper.
Even though he's not getting a ton of love here, it is interesting to see that his carreer totals were not that off from Chopper's. I think 9 out of 10 people would take Big Al in his prime over Phil, but Phil's carreer was absolutely nothing to sneeze at. He came into the league full time at age 18. In fact from 82-83 - 92-93 he never played less than 72 games. In that era he is 3rd all time for point by a Dman (Big Al right behind him, but at a higher PPG):

I think Phil also gets overshadowed for playing all of his prime in smaller markets (Buffalo and Winnipeg).
