Kulak has been making very steady progression every single season. That's why he'll likely make the NHL despite where he was drafted. Might need some seasoning in the AHL for a season or two, but I think he's getting close.
Arnold is still neck and neck with Kulak for me, but had to go with a 2-way defenseman who has a big shot. We need to replace Wideman ASAP.
Knight, Agostino, McDonald, and Culkin are in the next batch for me.

Continue to vote for Acolatse as I think we have a hidden gem here. Surprised about Kanzig and Macdonald. I thought they would have received more attention.

I have little trouble sorting out my order from existing prospects, but I have no idea when McDonald, Smith or even Hickey work into this list. Normally the 2nd rounders from the recent draft year kick in when you're through the 7 guys that you think are actual prospects.
The depth of the list this summer suggests we're not there yet, and may not be for some time.
Bennett you graduate as a combination of potential, where he's picked, and a really high liklihood to work out.
But Smith et al vs guys developing in the system is a really tough call.

Ferland for me. I think he has the highest upside of anyone left (except maybe McDonald, who I haven't seen play enough to have an opinion).

Went with Arnold again. Ferland and Kulak will most likely be my next picks. After that I have start considering the 2014 2nd rounders.

I'm all over the map here.
I went with Kulak this time. A couple years after being drafted and I'm still not that familiar with him. People who've watched him seem to really like him however. Unlike forwards and goalies were you can atleast looks at stats and try to put them into context it's hard for blueliners. This late into polling I'll just go by my limited knowledge of him and accept that guys think he can be something.

Went with Arnold here. I think he'll end up being the defensive anchor of our forward group ala Stephane Yelle.

Good lead for Arnold but look at the 2nd place battle. Next round may be very interesting

A 5'11" undrafted forward with less than mediocre stats in 5 years of WHL and 3 years of AHL

Blueliner but yeah.
He'll be 24 soon, I guess if someone likes him and wants to vote for him, that's cool but I was surprised to even see him listed as an option here.

D-man, went undrafted, eventually signed by the Sharks a few years ago and now signed by the Flames this summer as a UFA. Never seen him play, but sounds like a longshot. Played one year in PG I believe, which may be why a PG resident has a soft spot for him. Maybe he can give us more details about his game.

Pretty good stats then. My bad. I assumed forward and just looked at hockeydb yesterday because I was wondering about him

Kulak. He's on a path that resembles TJ Brodie and we need more of those kinds of guys. Booming shot, good all-round defenceman.
Arnold screams tweener. He's kind of like Conroy, but smaller. Good enough for spot duty in the top 6, but more of a third line C.

i went with Arnold last round, but have jumped ship and went with Knight this round. After some elementary research, knight's college numbers seem slightly better (and not sure how much to account for gaudreau's impact on arnold's numbers). Knight did well netting 44 points in his first pro year,.

Yeah, I see what you are saying about the guys drafted this year.
I was hoping we were going to pick Hunter Smith with our first 2nd rounder (34th overall) because I didn't think he would be there at 54.
After listening to his coach, (OHL coach of the year) DJ Smith (no relation) rave about the strides in Hunters game last season before the NHL draft got me hoping we would get him.
6'6", 16 goals, 40 pts, +11 and 100 PIM's last season after having 2 pts in 45 games the 2 seasons combined before that.
But the best part of Hunter Smiths season he saved for the playoffs. 3 goals, 8 assists for 11 pts in 12 games. 25 PIMs. Coach DJ Smith claims he and Micheal Dal Colle were far and away his best playoff performers. He also claims something has "clicked" with Hunter this year.
I'm just not sold on Agostino/Hanowski/Arnold/Knight ever becoming regular NHL players, where I can see a 6'6" guy who is ever improving make his way to the NHL. I see more potential in Hunter than most of the guys left.

Has anyone heard how Ferland is doing since his knee injury? Is he still recovering? Expected for training camp?

Acolatse has very comparable numbers, age, size and playing style to Cundari
Excellent addition to Adirondack.

Arnold should probably go higher, pretty crazy that he is so low. Not a sexy pick but a good prospect.
The list does highlight our weakness at D though...
