Not really familiar with why people would want to use my computer.
Because you get the blame for their activities, not them. It is harder to trace the activities to them.

The you're left trying to figure what the heck is going on.

I've been usong Firefox for about a year and a half now, and I love it. No way would I go backto IE.

Built into my navigation toolbar is current weather, and most importantly a link to google where all I have to do is slap in whatever I'm looking for and it opens the search results in a seperate tab. It makes me look real smart when bringing up facts and figures here at work.......especially with the older folk. They all think I'm some kind of magician because I can pull up information so quickly.
How'd ya get the current weather in there? That is something I've been trying to do for awhile, just too lazy to figure it out.

Just go to Forecast Fox and install the extension.

The code for Calgary is CAXX0054

I use Maxthon which is a tabbed browser with adblocking based on the IE rendering engine only without Firefox features like memory leaks, bloating, crashing, displaying .gifs too fast, displaying pages incorrectly, having to install extensions again each update, deleting bookmarks for no reason, you know little things like that

Instead of using one of the commands by clicking on the button, there are a number of these commands "programmed" into how you move the mouse.

For example, I have it set up so that it will read my mouse when I hold the right mouse button and drag. So If I want to go back a page I press the right button, drag left and when I let off it does the "BACK" command. Conversely, dragging to the right is forward. A drag down opens a new window, a drag up opens a new tab. Then you can get into combinations. If I drag up over a link, the link opens in a new tab (instead of opening in this window).

Another of my favourite gestures is to hold the right button, move over every link I will want to open, and as long as they I finish up by going right, up, left they will all open in a new tab.

It sounds a bit complicated, but if you start with just the basic gestures you will really notice it if you move to a michine without the gestures. I tried it for a few days, decided I didn't like them, but when I removed them I really missed the Back gesture (which surprised me) and since then I've just gotten used to a few more gestures.

I've been useing FireFox for almost a year now, and I have to say I can't imagine going back to Internet Explorer on a full-time basis. It just doesn't come close when compared to Mozilla in any way, shape or form. I strongly suggest anyone download it.

(If you know how that is Ahhh, sorry fotze)

I've been using firefox for a while now as well. Sometimes I'll be forced to use IE now and then and I absolutely hate it. I can notice a difference right away in loading time. For firefox it will take 1 second. 3 max. For IE? 5-10 seconds to fully load. Half the websites I try to go to take a while to load or don't load at all.

I also love the tabs, and is another reason out of 1000 to not go back to IE.

I have tried FireFox and while it is true that FireFox is light years ahead of IE, I like Opera a lot better. I am using Opera ever since I downloaded it, and needless to say I wouldn`t go back to either IE or FireFox.

My 2 cents.

A good way to compare browser speeds is to try and edit your MSN profile with Internet Explorer, and then try to edit it with FireFox. For some reason it can take like five minutes for the page to load when editing it in IE, but mere seconds when doing it with Mozilla. Not a huge surprise though.

I had Widnows explorer and my car broke down, I got shot and I suffered from stigmata's 2 X's a week. Since I downloaded Firefox - I won a Hummer and a car, I found out it was only a flesh wound and now I'm dreaming about fields of flowers and Zhang Ziyi is in my bed when I wake up. I tell you, Modzilla Firefox is A Okay with me (Thumbs up) Thanks KG!

yep Firefox is the best by a longshot!

Heres more add-ons to the browser...

some nice skins Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) & Silver Skin are nice and one I like called CustomizeGoogle which adds every other search engine to the Google search.

You might have to check the options to see if there is something that needs to be selected.

The only prob I have with this that I cant figure out is being able to get a page address by right clicking and getting the properties.

Biggest problem I have with Firefox is that it freezes up on pages with a lot of Flash. I thought it was a Mac-only thing, but after some net searching, it appears that Intel/AMD machines are having the same problem with Flash being slow.

I'll be surfing around canoe and the ads will bring Firefox to a crawl.

However, being in a Mac, I felt just silly having a Microsoft product on it so I'll live with the Flash freezes every once in a while....
