He asked to find a wedding prop, not opinions on whether he should get married.

The man speaks the truth. I remember when I thought I was ready to propose. We had dated for six years, bought a house together, produced a child and everything seemed right. I picked out a ring, picked out what to cook for a romantic dinner at home, and had my best suit dry cleaned. I thought to make it special I would serve it on the silver platter with a top. When I realized that I didn't know it was called a cloche, nor did I know where to buy one, I knew I wasn't ready for marriage. I kicked that cow out of my house, and I've been single ever since. Marriage isn't sacred and blessed unless you know where to buy a cloche.
