No to offer sheets while we are rebuilding.

The Bruins problem is they have 8 or 9 NHL dmen signed and only 10 NHL forwards. They need to trade a couple of those dmen for cap friendly forwards.
Boychuk and/or Siedenburg both can move on for the younger blood IMO. Hamilton/Krug/Bartowski have all shown that they belong. I'd love to have Boychuk join our D but I think our D is set from the looks of it going into next year. Detroit should be all over this.

I would offer sheet him if it meant that we did not have to give up our first rounder

Ya that's why Marchand's name has been thrown around along with Seidenberg and Boychuk. I don't think Boston can afford to trade one of their defenseman at this time. And if there is one man who isn't afraid to make changes it's Chiarelli. He has traded Kessel and Seguin. And with Reilly's emergence, and Eriksson's poor season, trading Eriksson would actually be a popular move.

Eriksson is coming off a poor season and concussions. It's not improbable that he's the guy who gets moved.
