Nigeria has looked better but wow their crossing is terrible.

They've owned the midfield and the ball but nothing resembling a decent chance. Corners in particular have been awful.

Wow France almost scores.

Let's hope that near miss gives both sides a bit of an adrenaline boost.

France had better get it together, they're the more talented team and up until now have been on fire, this has been their worst game so far and yet its the most important.

You'd think they'd want to seal this up before it gets too late and a single lapse in concentration could see them go out.

France has come alive. Wonder if Nigeria can even hold on to send it to extra time.

You'd think Nigeria could use some fresh legs on the field right now, where are the substitutions?

That'll do it - let's hope the Germans have a strong showing this afternoon.

The game this afternoon should be a beating.

You have got to wonder at this level that if a keeper is going for a ball with one hand that years of training would have him pre-programmed to make a fist.

I hope Algeria puts away the laser pointers from the last game.

Not like they'll be getting any shots on goal.

Statistically speaking, Manuel Neuer is the most underused goalkeeper in the tournament.
