It's not like the Canucks are doing anything special today. They're just doing stuff.

Well okey dokey…don't know what else to say here. Benning and crew seem to be trying to make changes just to clear the stink off the last team. Can't really blame them.

Dorsett is a decent antagonizer who can hit a little. Truculence.

A 5'11, 190 lb. "agitator" is going to get laughed at and crushed every time he steps on the ice in the Pacific division. Should be fun times next season.

Kind of wish the Flames would have snagged Dorsett. Only 27, gritty, hard worker, right wing.

He's going to be a pest against the Flames.

Looks like they quickly filled the dooshbaggins quota that went down due to Kesler leaving.

Dorsett is not much fun to play against I'm guessing. He plays big and has some skill. Not like that cupcake Sestito. Good move for them.

Not as long as McGrattan is in the starting lineup, he isn't.

Being an effective agitator in the east is easier then being an effective agitator in the West.

He won't do much out here.

Yeah I don't recall him being much of a pest against a big team like the Kings.

Classic tank moves today.

Talent out. Face puncher in.

It's a page ripped straight out of the Oilers play book.

Somebody has to play. The Sedins are loving this.

The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce that they're signed Zac Stortini to a 3 year contract today

"We felt that if we're going to be terrible on the ice we might as well hand out a lot of hugs so that we can spread a message of positivity" commented new GM Jim Benning

He also added "We seriously needed to add some solid leadership to this team, and nobody knows more about being a loser then Zac. He should really be able to help the Canucks lose and lose badly"

When reached at his summer home new Canucks coach Willie Desjardin seemed to be less then upbeat about the newest Canuck "What the $$$$ did I sign up with"

Zac was excited about returning to the NHL, he's decided to celebrate by hitting a mammoth with a club and trying to find out why his square stone wheel doesn't roll properly.

They won't be loving it very much after Getzlaf and Perry leaning on them for a shift in their own end so they ice the puck. Sticks resting on their shin pads and out comes a fresh 2nd line of Kesler and company.

Always saw that he was a ######bag. The 2010 Olympics sealed it for most.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Team looks terrible and those Sedin contracts look like the worst in the league right now.

Yeah, that may have worked for the Rangers in the East but out West hes going to get his face punched in.

For a long time my brain read this as Derrick Brassard and I was pissed that all they gave up was a late 3rd.

Was pleasantly surprised to learn it was actually this guy.

Dorsett was likely acquired due to his connection with Canucks head coach Willie Desjardins while playing for the Medicine Hat Tigers.
