I voted for Brown, any C who can take the Bruins that far is the MVP in my eyes...a one man wrecking crew to the top of the league!

Never said it was, But he has led the league in points for two years... is that everything NO but something and should be added along with other factors.

But apparently the player with the most points never wins the MVP... if you think just the total points is my defence then you are missing the point. I'm looking at Tavares total points compared to his teammates... it's the separation that defines his amazing MVP status. If Tavares was the best defensive forward you would have a point but the best offensive defencemen usually does win the best defencemen....

I'm not saying you're wrong dsavillian and if you voted against Tavares for these reasons then I fully support your choice. I didn't expect Tavares to receive 29 votes... it's the lack of votes.
