My expectations are to continue down the same path as last year in terms of culture and work ethic. If nothing really changes in terms of personel then we are likely picking 1-5 next year. I am going to reserve my expectation judgment until at least July 2nd to see what the flames do.

I expect the games to stay close and be just as exciting next year. No change in attitude. Standings wise, it's a coin flip. It seems like many other teams like us are entering shaky territory with the GMs and Coaches changing hands. I expect a few teams to really fall too, but whether they fall enough for us to pass them? I don't know.

No Conn Symthe and the Stanley Cup? Why not go beyond the sky?

Let's not forget the Masterton. The poor guy only managed one game last year.

Whoa now, it's only year two of a rebuild. Keep your expectations in check!

Question: Now that we don't get good Tortorella entertainment, who does Bob Hartley troll this year?
I expect the kids to get in a few scraps and win more than half of them.

Still too early to give a good guess. The second week in July will be a better time an educated guess. Buffalo will finish last but if they fluke out and get the top two picks for 2015 they will be a powerhouse by 2018. Oh almost forgot, Edmonton is no good.

My only real expectations are:
1. Keep up the never give up attitude and entertaining style of play.
2. Finish ahead of the Oilers.

Ha yeah. Isles miss playoffs and win lottery, Sabres pick 1 and 2
Agreed though - too early. But if the Flames don't load up on potentially high scoring forward(s) through potential draft deals and/or free agency, then between 2nd and 5th last.

My hopes are really high. I hope they can continue the momentum from last season. I felt like things were different. They grew an identity, Gio was a beast, Brodie was a beast, Backlund grew into the player we were waiting for, Moneyhands was money. But my expectations are low. I know it's year two of a rebuild so I don't want to get to far ahead of myself. If I keep my hopes high but lowered expections next season whatever happens it's a win win.

28th, unfortunately.
30. Buffalo
29. Edmonton
28. Calgary
27. Nashville
26. Carolina
25. New Jersey
I expect...
Florida will be better with Luongo in goal and a new coach. Not a playoff team, but probably finish around 22nd overall.
Vancouver will be better. I think a large part of this years nightmare can be attributed to Tortorella/Gillis. With those 2 gone, and Linden/Benning having something to prove, I expect them to be a playoff bubble team. I think they'll make a couple big moves this summer.
New York Islanders will improve. They finished the season strong, were a playoff team 1 year ago that pushed the Pens to game 7, and they don't hold a 1st round pick in 2015 so there's motivation for them to get out of the McDavid sweepstakes. Have a decent #1 now too in Halak.
Nashville will get worse. I think Trotz was a damn good coach for that team and they'll miss him.
Carolina will be the same. Seem to be entering a rebuild?
New Jersey will be worse. Their roster is god awful.

I think we will spend some money this summer and be a somewhat improved team from what we had last season. When all is said and done I think we will be picking 7-10 at the 2015 draft.

The flames were above .500 with Ramo in net this year. I think finishing next year above .500 is a reasonable expectation with a healthy Gio and Ramo as the starter for the full year.

If we get a bad injury season again, I now think we are going to able to handle it, especially from what we saw from the AHL call ups.

Flames will end up in the 27th or 28th spot. Buffalo will definitely be worse and Edmonton/Florida will continue to suck.

Florida should get better. I see them finishing around 23rd overall.

Draft Pick

#### the bed, get the 1st over all pick , draft Mc David, fill in all the holes with lots of free cap space. Make the playoffs 2015-2016 season.
So just pick up some ones bad contracts to get to the cap floor for picks and play all the kids.
If they over achieve like last year then my plan goes out the window.

The team solidifies itself as a hard working team and proves that the gutsy '13/'14 wasn't a one-off. Hartley gets an extension. Very entertaining hockey is enjoyed all season long, despite the results.
We finish bottom 5, and draft one of Barzal/Eichel/McDavid/Hanifin, and make some more "selling" trades at the deadline before becoming very active in the 2015 free agent market and end up playoff bound in '15/'16.

I think we'll pick up a couple quality free agents in the off season.
Johnny will be in Calder consideration
Ramo will be a top 20 goalie
I expect we finish around 24-25
