I love how he slams the glass and stares at the Canucks fan after he scores that breakaway goal. Also love all the footwork he does with the puck

Nice work AC

KHL player by 2012. Book it!

Thanks AC! Great video. Some really classy plays by Backlund. We've always seen glimpses of it, but this season things have started to really click for him. He stepped up when he was given the A as well, so you know he has the desire and ability. Exactly the type of enthusiastic, talented player this team needs.

What I notice in this package of highlights is that he can score in a multitude of ways. I saw the following:

-Deke on a breakaway
-One-timer from the side of the net
-Power move from the corner
-Scoring on the rush going around a defender
-Deflection of a point shot
-Jamming a rebound in between the goalies pads

This is to say nothing of his high end passing skills and vision which seems to always be there when he plays with Hudler (which I would like to see continue this upcoming season). Oh yeah, and he's pretty solid defensively as well with good work ethic. Pretty nice all-around package developing from Backs.

Thanks as always.

I hope I don't get run over here for making a comment on someone's hard work that they give to us for free. Constructive criticism; I found I enjoyed this clip less because every highlight was replayed 3-4 times. On a play where it wasn't that fancy or it was easy to follow, I really don't enjoy watching 4 times from different angles, it actually takes away from the clip.

I know, I know......

Personally, I like seeing different angles, because most of the time they are better than the first, and sometimes you can see the play really develop at another camera angle. For this video, I thought that the replays benefited us.

Yeah I understand your point Camronius.

I prefer to show the plays in enough detail that fans can appreciate the creativity occurring in each highlight however. Maybe I'm alone in the thinking but personally, in these sort of archive videos that are made to contain a player's season highlights, I'd rather show too much than too little. Especially since its pretty easy to skip forward 10 seconds or so while watching YouTube videos.

If I was making a video to show the entire team's best highlights or something, the strategy would be different.
