Does this mean we've hit an all time high for parity in the league?

I think that this season, the overall standings were misleading...I know that Q didn't pile minutes on his Olympic participants in trying to run down the Blues (who faded on their own to give the division to the 'Lanche), even to the point of shutting down #19 and #88 with a few weeks left in the season, even when they were ready to come back. Also, I think you can't underrate the Kings...the whole West was hypercompetitive, and racking up 100 points, and not having the Metro division to feast on, is more impressive than the Pens 109, IMO.
I tend not to predict outcomes...teams that make the Conference Finals are usually ALL worthy. But I see this series being in the hands of Quick. He has had his struggles against the 'Hawks, but, like in their prior Cup year, has shown that he is capable of stealing a series. The 'Hawks will hope for more open ice than they saw in the Wild series, but Sutter has a reputation for demanding defensive excellence.
The three games vs. each other were 3-1, 1-0, and 5-3...all 'Hawk victories. But the playoffs are a whole different matter.
