I don't really do predictions...but...I like this matchup, not necessarily the avoidance of the Avs...but having home ice...and no games at high altitude. I expect the Wild will be a little leg weary in game 1.

The Wild goaltending saga is SOooo strange...is Kuemper's status known? Or are the Wild down to a late pickup PLUS their AHL goalie?

if Bryz plays, the Hawks win. If Kuemper comes back - AND shows no ill-effects of his concush - then........ the Hawks likely still win, but it's a better series. If the Wild's going to compete it needs to match Chicago's scoring depth, and we absolutely need the Moulsons and Pominvilles to start hitting the back of the net.

That said, the Hawks are peaking right now, which is simply bad news for the Wild, and likely would have been bad news for Colorado, too.
