Has Keenan opened doors in the NHL?

I hope Keenan stays with Magnitogorsk for the next couple of seasons. He's been really good for the team.
They had a really good playoffs and the final against Prague was really good. All seven games were super intense. Very pleased with the result.

I honestly think we could've done better against the Hawks in '09 if it weren't for injuries. Weren't both Regehr and Dion out? It was unfortunate. The most offensively potent Flames team we'd had in years gone to waste.

Gio and Warrener out as well, Phaneuf broken ribs, Langkow broken hands. Calgary had five d-men either out or playing injured. They still went 6 games.

I actually saw the documentary about Keenan coaching in Russia a few months ago. He doesn't look or sound mean they way he coaches the NHL pre-Calgary Flames gig. He looks like he was adapting very well in KHL style, which kind of surprising. Good for him in winning the Cup.

Seems like a very russian, home-grown roster. Tim Brent is the only one I notice.
