The 20 year old forward suffered a knee injury near the end of the regular season in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He was evaluated the next day and it was said that Galchenyuk would miss the first round of the playoffs.

The Habs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 4-0 series and have a little over a week off before the second round begins to recover. With this, it has been noticeable there is still no official update on Galchenyuk's status.

According to Dave Stubbs from the Montreal Gazette, Galchenyuk has not been seen skating since his injury a couple of weeks ago.

These teams must have magnets when it comes to the playoffs. There should not be any matinee games in this series and hopefully with Saturday games at 1700h. Batten down the hatches, this is going to be another gruelling series and the Bruins will win this in six games.

The only that is likely going to back for the Bruins in the next round is one that hasn't been mentioned. Paille has been skating with the team, skated this morning, and Julien said he's at the point where he could probably take the warmup before a game.
