You have to think of that was Crosby getting hit it would have been longer. Rinaldo is scum. He would fit in well in Vancouver.

I don't see the elbow.
Definitely dirty with the jump and the head target, and not disagreeing that 4 games is getting off easy.

Love the flyers but that reminded me too much of the Matt Cooke hit on savard. Only he launched himself a little more. Thought seven would be about right, seeing as 'severity of injury' is still a factor for some stupid reason

The thing I dislike about this guy the most is his disregard for other players. The NHL could use this hit and make Rinaldo the poster boy of exactly the types of plays they need to get out of the NHL.

On another note, he is one of the only players that continually punches a player after they've gone to the ice. If you land a big shot you stop and go to the penalty box. Not this guy guy. He looks at it as an opportunity to really hurt the other player. When the roles are reversed on this guy you'll see all the people he fights let up when he's on the ground even though they could do significant damage.

These types of players do nothing for the game. As a fan you hope it's not a superstar on your team that is affected by reckless players like this.

I say bull

He takes as much as he gets, and if you looks only at this season he hasn't thrown a single bunch at player on the ice but he's taken a few. He even pulled up on a fight and threw nothing when you could have did the exact things you speck of.

There's no question that he ONCE took liberties when he was trying to land a NHL job and with that he has eaten a few punches in the process. But he is far from what you speak of and has shown no signs of that in what is his second full NHL season.

In that case, Iggy should have taken a number. After hitting your head on the boards is not a good time to challenge someone. Emotions got caught up at the time but I look forward to their next meeting and I hope that puke gets completely pummeled by Iggy.

As a Flyer fan I don't think this was near long enough. To me it was even a worse hit than Steve Downey placed on McAmmond when he got 20 (?) games.

I think the NHL (Shanahan) only gave him 4 games so when the Flyers dress him in the playoffs it screws the team over. Have I said I can't stand Rinaldo.
