wish i was heading to the ACC for this one....

I actually think this could be a brutal game for the flames, as the leafs are long overdue to bust out a big win with all the pressure mounting here in toronto.

Win or lose, thank you leafs for making april fools not just a day, but 2+ weeks

Go Flames Go.

I hope Stajan/Colborne have huge games!

Can you really afford to risk it? Wearing a Leaf jersey after all

I don't think historically the Flames have had success in Toronto. Don't think it's to the same level as the Duck Pond, but I don't recall the last time the Flames won in Toronto. Not in the last 3 years at least

EDIT: Just checked, the last time Calgary won in Toronto was 2011 with a 2-1 SO, and previously to that was 2009 with a 5-2 Victory

ya, ACC hasn't been kind, at least when i go. That year when flames traded for jokinen was probably one of the funnest games i have been to (score was like 6-5) with sundin netting his 500th or something in OT (yuck) .

and Phaneuf is a minus 5 on for all goals against. Burke will love it if the Flames play a part in eliminating the laafs from the playoffs.

Well I think that was 2006 as I was at a leaf's bar watching the game. Gio just started coming into his own and scored 2 to get it into overtime. Sundin's goal broke my heart

I know, it's gonna be so embarrassing if the Flames lose but my friend is a die hard Leafs fan and I would love to see them wear a Flames jersey in shame.

lol. It's an April Fools joke; the league wouldn't have registered it in the first place if it had illegal bonus amounts. But that's a good one. Probably sent a few Leaf fans over the edge.

Also, lets see some of this on the ice tonight!

Absolutely detest the Leafs. Please, please win.

I'll say 4-3 Flames. Colborne, Monahan, Byron, McGrattan with the winner.

losing to the leafs stings as bad as defeats vs the nucks/oil.

Maybe I just pull for the guy too much but I wish they would play Gali over Westgarth.

Even when Westgarth is at the top of his game i find it painful to watch him play.

I guess plays like the Karlsson hit in Ottawa keep him relevant?? Or maybe Gali just isn't as good as I want him to be.

That said, would to piss of Leafs fans with a dominant win tonight. 4-0 Flames.

I work with a bunch of Leafs fans. A bug Flames win would be the best way to greet them as I go back for another 20. Go Flames GO!!

I remember that 2009 one I think. We scored 3 goals in like 40 seconds or something and I think Olli had a hatty.

You are combing two different games. The Sundin OT goal for his hat trick and 500th goal was Oct 2006. The jokinen high scoring game was in 2009.

Those bottom two lines are just strange.. Do we really need BVB, McGrattan AND Westgarth in the lineup?..
