Pfft, who have the Wings ever drafted since they got lucky with Datsyuk and Zetterberg in the late rounds?

Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft.

What an incredible organization.

Bad luck.. geez.. the tip didn't matter it was going in either way.

CBC feeling the heat of the Leafs missing the playoffs... much more homerish than usual.

Is Clarkson the most expensive fourth liner ever?

This looks good on the Leafs. It isn't even a fire drill in their defensive zone. It is a.....a......debacle of monumental proportions. I'm waiting to see if the fans boo them off the ice at the end of the second.

Hope the Wings pour it on. Love to see the Leafs miss the playoffs.

Hey, I think that quote from Lombardi applies to the Oilers too. "Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit."

He probably wasn't a fourth liner but Scott Gomez was much worse value at $7.3M per season and not scoring a goal for the longest time.

For the Oil, it isn't a habit, it is their identity

PeteMoss says it best, the CBC is being much more baby homerish. The Habs will hopefully be the only canadian team in the playoffs. Take that CBC.

Pacrioetty scored to make it 2-0 Habs after one period and has scored again late in the second period, 3-0 Habs. Boyes scored on a nice shot, 3-1 now.

After two periods, it is 2-2 Tampa and Buffalo, it is 1-1 BJs and Hurricanes, and 1-1 Devils and Islanders.

The Stars have a 1-0 lead over the Blues after one period.

Much like the Flames who have a terrible season right up until the end then pour on the wins.

Nope, not like us at all. And the Flames have been winning since January, not "at the end" like you've put it.

have to think Clarkson gets bought out in the summer.

Too big of a risk if he doesn't bounce back next year. I mean, he's still only 29/30, but, that contract is obscene.
