Westgarth should learn to be an agitator and not a fighter, he doesn't have the special edge that guys like Mcgrattan or Laraque where they eat punches like a cheeseburger. Last thing I want to see is Westgarth get his face smashed in again, based on how badly he got beat I'd say pick another role buddy.
Just let Mcgrattan do the fighting, he's the heavyweight champ right now.

Disagree. I think Westgarth can hold his own and will prove it tonight in a rematch with Gazdic.

Unfortunately, I couldn't thanks this post more than once. My prediction is Glencross continues to be hot garbage tonight boys. Also someone will regret dropping the gloves with #16 in white tonight. He will make them pay dearly, with their face...hurting...a lot.

hope you're right. Don't remember Mcgrattan or Laraque ever laying on their back out cold, maybe it happened but I just don't think Westgarth has the chin to be a fighter like Mcgrattan, to ever contend for the heavyweight champ. Against the upper tier fighters you better have an iron chin.

I think this post of mine from last night sums it up.

3 tonight if I'm not mistaken. 3!
Weber's first (let him sneak in off blueline)
Weber's second. (Bad penalty leads to bullet of a PP goal)
Cullen 3rd period. (Loses his man again)

Don't get me wrong, he's no Grats, Godard or Laraque, but he's still a pretty tough SOB.

I don't think he's ever been out like Westgarth... but Boogaard put him down a few times.

That was the first time Westgarth's been KO'd like that as well. Westgarth is pretty tough guy... beat Orr and McLaren last year. He's not at McGratton's level but he's pretty tough.

hardest I've seen him go down^ thanks for the vid. Anyone know if Laraque ever got put down like that? My fondest memory of him was Chara immediately trying to get out of the fight once he realized how strong Laraque was.

Do you think Parros is a good fighter? I think he is and he was lying on his back in the season opener.
Besides, Wesgarth always brought more to the table than fighting... Ie when he was on the Kings IIRC.
