Even the Dallas PBP guys are really impressed with what Hartley has instilled in the Flames. Just a love fest from the other side.

Is it just me or has Brodie been underwhelming for a bit now?

He had 2 pts in the last game PL2, both in the first 8 minutes, what more do ya want?

Haha no I mean he's not playing bad by any stretch but to me he seems to have lost his extra step he had at the beginning of the year. He is pretty fast but haven't noticed him use it like he has pretty much his whole career. Maybe fighting an injury who knows.

He is sad that he didn't make it 8-2 vs the Ducks.

I really liked it when he had the confidence and the drive to go to the other team's net once in a while on the rush. While putting up points quietly, he doesn't seem to have that drive lately. Hope he does it some more this season. Brodie, that is..

Haven't really noticed Wotherspoon much. That's a compliment at this point. Used to notice Breen...for all the wrong reasons.

Wotherspoon will be another Brodie if he doesn't have any major hiccups in his progression. He just looks solid to me. For a 20 year old, he really impressed me at the American level.

I think that he is settling in fairly well. I like that he took the extra time behind the net to make the right play rather than rushing it. Too early to see where he will eventually settle in but my gut says 5-6 dman for quite a while longer.

Like I said last game . I think he uses his body well along the boards.which doesn't surprise me too much. That was very noticeable in his junior game.

I dont know much about him other than the games I have watched however I dont think he has as quick of feet. I see him more as a Smid if comparing to someone on our team. Solid, more defensive minded, not a risk taker...just sound!
Again, this is based on a few games I have watched so I could be out too lunch.
