Anyone think they sign Gordan? I am hoping they do - I think this kid has at least a decent AHL future, and maybe more. Many felt he was a huge 'steal' when the Flames drafted him, but has probably underwhelmed a bit (last year increased his point totals, but his goals were nearly halved, this season looks back on track, but you would figure he would be scoring at a higher clip with his age).

Culkin and Kulak will probably be signed.
Gordon? Wouldn't surprise me either way. Doesn't look like a top prospect to me. Maybe whether they will sign him will depend on if they can woo more promising NCAA free agents before the deadline.

I'd like to the flames make a run at Troy Bourke if Colorado doesn't sign him. Put up a career high 80 points this year for the Cougars on an awful team

Coda Gordon's had a great year, I would expect them to sign him.

updated list. Teams have 19 days to sign these guys or they go back to this years draft.
Major name that sticks out for me is Montreal still hasn't signed Thrower.
Once again thanks to caley on HF for maintaining this list
also keep in mind the stats in the table are 2012/2013 stats

I guess Ville Pokka is probably the most interesting one. I can't imagine that NYI haven't made him an offer.

Thrower was one of my favourites going into that draft for our 2nd rounder. Hope we can get in on that.

Definitely Thrower & Pokka most intriguing names for me as well.
How much did I think of Thrower in his draft year? Click here for in depth profile

I was also bigger on Pokka than most in his draft year. Had a great chat with him at the WJCs here.

Pure speculation, but it is possible Pokka is not going to sign with the Isles because he doesn't like their young D depth. Might not see much of a chance to break out into the NHL with them.
Thrower had season ending ankle surgery, perhaps Montreal is waiting to see a clearer prognosis before signing him.

I'd definitely use one of the 3rds on Ullmark. Good goalie

This thread confused the hell out of me. I was wondering why Kulak and Culkin were on the list because I was sure we signed them.
Post date
We should sign Ben Johnson just for the laughs.

I want Erik Karlsson, Erik Nystrom and Bertschy
Honestly though the only ones I know anything about are Thrower and Blujus. I followed Thrower before but i can't say if he still has NHL potential or not. Blujus should be a solid bottom pairing guy I think though, he's worth a late round pick IMO

Pokka can't sign until the world championships are over, giving NYI a short window to sign him:

Not sure how he'll project at the next level, and probably not what the Flames need to add right now, but I would consider Troy Bourke as well - I know his family and just a great kid - talented as well. Didn't have the easiest situation in Prince George in the Dub.
Yet another guy I did an in depth profile on in his draft year, if interested. {click here}

Of the OHL guys - Gemel Smith is someone I'd look at.
I know it was a joke - but Ben Johnson is a no go - http://metronews.ca/news/windsor/777...y-this-season/
(also at least for the OHL guys those are 13/14 stats)

I have to think other teams' fans look at that list and see Coda Gordan (scoring, decent size) as someone they want.

Wasn't Dylan Blujus a very highly touted prospect that year? No interest in him?
