Unlikely, but it would be enjoyable to see just this on the ice.

Always so pleasant:

“@KristenOdlandCH: John Tortorella tried to downplay last game vs. #Flames as little of a storyline as possible but it's impossible to forget what happened...”

“@KristenOdlandCH: Torts: “This game has nothing to do with the last one. As far as we’re concerned, this is the next after us playing poorly on our last 2."”

“@KristenOdlandCH: More Torts: “I spoke on that after the game. I spoke on that the day after the game. And I’ve moved past that. This is about us trying to

“@KristenOdlandCH: ....find any type of footing as a team right now. That’s what my concern is. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing."”

“@KristenOdlandCH: When asked if he & Hartley talked: "You're asking me a lot of questions. I spoke on that after the game. I'm not concerned about that."”

“@KristenOdlandCH: Torts: "W/all do respect, I'm just worried about this hockey game."”

Tonight we finish what we started last time against the Canucks. 5-1 flames. Monahan with the hat trick. Mcgrattan destroys sestito. Hanowski fights Kesler and gets his own thread on CP for breaking kesler's nose. Final nail in the coffin for the Canucks.

What's funny is coming off the Wild game, one could easily justify "rewarding" the 4th line with the opening shift....maybe not so much today.

As weird as it sounds and it speaks to how low the Canucks have gone, but with the Flames at 6-4 in the last 10 and the Canucks at 1-8-1, this feels like a trap game.

With a regulation win tonight, the flames would be only 7 points back of the Canucks with 2 games in hand. How the so-called "mighty" have fallen.

I'd love it if Hartley started a line of:
Cammalleri - Backlund - McGrattan

You couldn't argue he started his 4th line then...

I actually think Torts might actually start up something on one of our kids. It seems like a classless thing that someone in the Canucks organization might do..

I just hope the Canucks can score a couple goals tonight. I'm on the tank train for the Canucks. I still get excited when/if they win/score, but also happy if the chalk up another loss.

If the trend continues the Canucks have no chance in this game. No one can score.

I think it's cute that the Canucks and some of their fans think this is rock bottom. This is a franchise that spent their first 20 years of existence at rock bottom, this isn't even close to it.

Come out of the gates flying... Finish every check, throw pucks to the net, and start stuff between whistles and the flames will bury the Canucks big time. Don't give the Canucks a second of space. Suffocate them with pressure.

It's amazing how quickly Nuck fans turned into Oiler fans

Hopefully we get these 2 points and make that the 2 points the nucks needed to make the playoffs.
