Not a fan of this trade. Still think Berra has potential and Colorado is a goalie machine. Feels like Giguere 2.0.

Berra has the raw tools to be good, if Roy could coach him on technique a little bit he could be good.

Wow, I didn't think he would get anything in a trade, good for Burke. What does Colorado want with Berra though? Will they go with three goalies for the rest of the year and plan on signing Berra as the backup next year?

I think that's giving up on Berra too quickly. I also would prefer to see Ortio finish the year in Abby

That means they didn't plan to sign him in the offseason and just wanted something for him. Either they think Ortio is there next season or they're looking at signing someone in the summer after they've seen where he is against NHL competition.

Too bad. I though that he was coming along nicely.
Great opportunity for Ortio though and I think he has the higher long term upside.
