I was telling people she was going to be a star when I first saw her 6 or 7 years ago playing in the ACAC.

Today Szabados signed with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL in Columbus, Georgia. Congrats to her!

I don't think this is related at all to the Oilers practice. I recall that she had a try out last year before Hockey Canada centralization. I think she went down there a few weeks after the Ooks won the ACAC title last year.

I hope she gets some starts and is able to get them far in the playoffs.
