This guy for all of his idiosyncrasies would be and should be considered top 5 of all time. Gretzky one, Orr-Lemieux, Howe, Jagr. Absolute stud who throught strength and talent could take over a game when required. Very difficult guy to come to his defence at all times but no denying his talent.

Lots of love, but he also basically stopped trying for a bit while in Washington. He cost himself some of those goals as well.

The other thing I got out of this news is how underrated Mike Gartner is. He doesn't have the aura around him like the other guys, yet there he is 6th all time. Him and Ron Francis deserve more love.

On the Boston / Rangers game, they were just discussing Jagr's 700th and mentioned a couple interesting facts:

1) 5 of the 7 in the club have played for the Rangers (Gretzky, Espo, Dionne, Gartner and Jagr)

2) when Gretzky got his 700th, he hadn't turned 30 yet!

I had forgotten that - just insane!
