Any gravel pits nearby?
There's a STAR gravel pit near the dump in Royal Oak that has, on a few occasions, made extremely loud noises and had multiple complaints from neighbors. Like...literally house shaking, loud noises.

I've been wondering the same. Just a crush? Are they a couple? Same poster thanking his own posts? Or does strombad just say exactly what Mister Yamoto is thinking 75% of the time?

I was on my phone earlier and this video didn't appear, but now that I lok at it, thats sounds a lot like what it coulda been. I do know there's power line going in too along Deerfoot just south of Calf Robe, but at this point there just putting in the poles, wiring not close yet, unless it was another line somewhere.
Anyone else in the southeast hear that just now? Sounded like thunder in the distance. What the hell, there goes another one. Explosions or something somewhere. I'm in Queensland, but it sounded like maybe east and south of here... Maybe towards south trail area or further even.
I used to use two accounts to give myself thanks. "flameswin" and Yeah_Baby".
As you can tell by the blandness of the account names they were pretty obvious throwaway accounts. I stopped using them when the Yeah_Baby account went sentient and only started to thank my posts ironically.

WOW. That's pretty much how I imagined it as well.
Usually I don't even read them. Strombad has a giant blackboard in his basement where he charts who thanks who. I like to keep him busy. OK, I'll stop. For now. (Out of thanks anyways)
