Leeson and Lavigne getting through is both awesome and surprising. Calve will have the toughest quarter-final sadly.

Things are opening up with so many "favorites" falling out of contention. Although with the way so many are falling, who knows if anything is determining who the favorites are.

Man this sport is fun to watch. It's nice because it's head to head but not as nerve racking as other head to head sports because the contestants can't take each other out. Best of both worlds.

All three curling feeds are taking me to the Sweden/Switzerland game. :/

edit: Yay, fixed.

Ouch, disappointment in PGS. Leeson had it. :/

Jones and her rink are on another level right now. It seems to be psyching out GB, because Muirhead just missed a routine double.

Edit: And I spoke to soon. A bit of a whoopsie and GB is back in it!

Unfortunately all the Canadians are eliminated in the Snowboard quarter finals. No medals.

The 10th end between Switzerland and Sweden was brutal. Missed shot after missed shot by both team. Neither team made a clutch shot. Jones faces Sweden for Gold.

Humphries gains a tenth of a second on the American 1st place sled, only 11 hundredths behind now going into Run 4.

Jacobs up 3, leading 7-4 going into 8th.

So, now Canada is sitting on 3 guaranteed medals -- all at least silver -- for men's and women's curling, and women's hockey.

Canada to the gold medal game. China to the bronze. Props to China though, they were ranked 9th out of the 10 teams in the event.
