OK, now I'm confused. Didn't King Solomon offer to split a baby 50/50?

This is what I tell everybody who comes in the door when they are bumped by someone who wants them to go get 3 Estimates and than complains that they were all too expensive and than wants you to take it to their "buddy" or go the insurance route. Most of the time you will waste your time going and getting estimates because if it goes through insurance they will either send you somewhere to get an approved estimate for repair or send out an appraiser to look at your car.
This isn't true at all. Any reputable shop will give a quote/estimate regardless of damage sticker. Any reputable shop will also be more than happy to take pictures of the damage if it's over $2000 and email them to police so you don't have to drive the car to a station when filing a report/receiving a sticker. Hint: Almost any collision where there is a crack/dent/body damage will almost certainly end up being over $2000.

My murky brain has a memory of two sets of parents bringing a baby before him both saying it was theirs. He was unable to say which was the true parent(s) and each must have some truth to their story. So he decided to cut the baby in half. One set of parents said yes, the others said they would rather the baby stayed with the other parents. He gave the baby to those parents, in short saying only true parents would want the baby to live and no longer have it than to die and have half.

In situations where there is no witnesses to support either side, the 50/50 split is very common.

So you meant to say "You are correct, Ken" instead of "Slava is correct."

Lol, well its not always 50/50. Like I say, if one guys is backing up and the other isn't, the car backing up is at fault.

And my experience says differnently Slava. The only time I have heard of it being 100% is if there is a 100% T-bone. Other than that; it is the responsibility of all motorists to watch for other cars in a parking lot.

Well in a former life I used to adjust claims....and my experience is that this is not the case. Backing up is 100% at fault. It might seem stupid and might seem like scenarios where that shouldn't be the case, but it is.

Those are easily the worst diagrams I have ever seen, what were they thinking? If someone handed that in to me at work, I would send them straight back to their desk.
