Alex Beaulieu-Marchand qualified for the finals in Ski Slopestyle. Finals start in about an hour.

Finland-Austria 4-2 after one period. A mess of a period, but entertaining

5-2 Finland. Austria needs a new goalie (and 5 or 6 defenders).

Who knows, it always seems lower-level teams try harder when they're playing Canada. It could be closer then you think, especially if Canada runs into a decent goaltending performance.

Do the Austrians think they are the Habs or something? What's with the high numbers?

I did an OOT thread for 3 hockey games, got mixed up with the time for the Finland-Austria game. I have copied the comments about this game in the OOT thread. The Norway vs. Canada game will have its own game thread.

Does anyone know why it says "PROTESTED" beside Run 2 for the women's skeleton?

No idea, someone must have put in a time protest. I saw nothing wrong when I watched it.

St. Gelais qualified in the 500m, Hewitt went down.

Wow, Suk Hee Shim is out. Li doesn't even compete in the 500m on the world cup.

Cournoyer advances in the 1000m. Kerstholt who is currently #3 in the world and top 10 in the past three years is out. Olivier Jean advances as well, Hamelin up shortly.

It would be really cool if all three Canadians advance in the 1000m

All three are good enough for the top 16. Cournoyer is the only one who should have issues getting into the round of 8.

Yeah, the USA dominated.

Hamelin's heat was really intense. Not sure he should've moved on.
