That was such an incredible run, especially with the snow slowing down. Hopefully it inspires the other two.

The funny thing is that we actually have been doing comparatively poor at slopestyle events compared to our expectations. Parrot and McMorris in the top 3 in Men's Snowboard, and Spencer O'Brien in the Women's Snowboard.
I can't wait for the Ski and Snowboard Cross events to start too. So thrilling.

So is landing backwards and then skiing backwards into the jump a required element? Every girl is doing it.

I must say. I really love how the CP community is showing up at 3am to watch our Olympians. I am having a great time watching these games live.

Nope, just worth extra points.
Can't wait to see the men attempt 1080's and 1440's. Maybe they will touch the Russian nesting doll as well, that should be a required element.

I think it just adds an extra element of difficulty.

It's not required, but it is more difficult to do. Think of how in snowboarding being switch is technically tougher. It's like that, except going backwards on skis is more difficult than riding switch.

Is it harsh of me to say it's not surprising at all that Sarah Burke died doing this? So many huge falls today, it's lucky none of the riders have been seriously injured.

Im curious how this course is going to hold up for the men, as they keep mentioning the weather is getting warmer and the fact the course is so chewed up.

that Swedish coach was rocking the rainbow headphones. Doing it just for style or making a little statement for the LGBT community? First I've seen that in the Olympics, expected more of it to be honest with you.

Canada guaranteed a medal with only 2 non-Canadians left. Pretty safe bet Dara's run holds up. Come on Yuki and Kim!

Yes I know, but same discipline really. Obviously they're experiencing the same types of falls as well, just not as straight down.
