All the pain is gone, now the surgery pain is sill pretty bad

The surgery won't cost me anything except the $150 copay

Ill be here all night and discharged tomorrow. Follow up appointment on the 28 and physical therapy after that

That is awesome PIMking. Hope you make a full recovery.

I've had similar issues (tight shoulder / shoulderblades, specific couch lying positions.. hating going to get my haircut due to the sink you have to crink your neck onto, headaches), but nothing nearly as bad as what you've described.

I looked into getting an MRI years ago but never succeeded, and am quite a bit better now. My injury stems from trying to launch rocks across a driveway using a square shovel. A wheelbarrow would have been smarter

It's great that you had insurance. Hope you get some feeling back into that arm. You seem to have taken this like a champ!

we have another ice/snow storm expected tonight. My nurses cant go home and they're stuck here with us all night

I can't say enough good things about this hospital. They seem like the genuinely care about people here.

The pain that I have now is just in the area where they screwed the plate on my vertebra and since I had a breathing tube put in along with them moving my windpipe out of the way my throat is pretty sore.

Will the plate cause any issues for you going forward, such as in back movement?
