lol, what the hell are they showing us on the TV here ... those BC stats look like they were found using Webcrawler in 1996.

I really wanted to stop complaining about Kerr and Sportsnet in general, but ffs guys, how about calling the play instead of chatting.

Watching the game, "Hey, cool, there's a Flames fan in the front row. ... No, that's just Ortio."

There's hardy any Islanders fans there, let alone Flames fans. Place is empty

Still with him there is a decent enough ratio of 1/10 of Flames fans to Islanders fans in the building.

how can the offense dry up like that after 5 straight victories? Depressing. That's 4 straight periods without any offense.

No, but the broadcast color is off. That's something.

I fear no Islanders. No way Flames lose.
Isles are over rated. They will suck forever.

That was an insanely frustrating first period. Missed passes, lazy stick plays and a couple of penalties that were, well questionable IMO. It almost feels like the Flames were trying too hard to make something pretty happen. Berra was rock solid, and when he got floppy Stajan was Johnny on the Spot to bail him out. At least we have that going for us. I expect a MUCH better second with the Flames forechecking and putting a lot more shots on net. I mean come on it's Nabokov!! The Flames have shown they can light him up!

Sucks for him that he finally gets called up and his first two games are in rinks where the backup doesn't get to sit on the bench.

Sucks for Orts. How much can he really learn sitting off by himself? Nothing they can do about it, but it still sucks for him.
