At least the coverage won't be 50% Tiger anymore.

Looking like a real wide open Masters. That should be good for us viewers as they won't just concentrate on a few players. None of the top guys is doing much so far this year. There is like some new winner every other week.

Ames has made a few PGA cuts down the stretch as he gets ready for his eligibility on the Champions Tour.
However, in the 4th round today he carded a 9 on a par 4, after putting three separate shots into the water, apparently off of the tee.
I believe he turns 50 on April 28th.
I, for one, think he will go on a tear on the Champions Tour. his iron play is still solid. The issue for him on the PGA tour is his lack of length, which shouldn't be a problem on the Champions Tour. For example, on the PGA Tour he ranks 172 in Driving distance at an average of 274, yet on the Champions Tour that would rank him 23 or so. Last year he was 3rd on the PGA Tour in strokes gained putting. This year he hasn't been as strong, but he hasn't made as many cuts.
Last year he was 1st on the PGA Tour in putts made between 15 and 20 feet, and was 2nd on Tour in Par 3 performance.
Everyone is making a lot of noise about Jiminez joining Tour, but I think Ames will steal the show.

Wow, what an ending!
Jones holes out on the first playoff hole and Kuchar couldn't match him from the bunker.

Who you got to win the Masters this year? I like another Aussie to win this year in Jason Day. His four best finishes of 2013 were in majors, WGC or FedExCup Playoff events. His game seems suited for Augusta as evidenced by his T3 here in 2011 and a solo 2nd last year. Lastly he won an WGC event back in February before his thumb injury, as he said this week its fine after six weeks off.

Yep, I like jason day's chances as well. I was looking at Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar until last week- awful WD performance from Johnson and basically a choke by Kuchar on Sunday. I think they can pull it together this weekend though... Unless of course Johnson is dealing with a serious back issue.

I took Cabrera, Couples, and Day.
Cabrera off to a pretty bad start.
Freddy is always in contention, he just seems to get too tired and screws up on Saturday and Sunday but I like dark horses.
Always hoping for Deleat too, just not invested in him.

Didn't think Weir would be the low Canadian. GDL must have been uber nervous - first time at Augusta must be like first time having sex - awkward, exciting but still gratifying.

Lol... his interview after his round was like he just had sex for the first time. Had a big smile, and was happy that he was playing at the Masters.

Yeah, wow! 9 under with a birdie on 18. Augusta just works so well for certain golfers. No surprise why we see a lot of repeat winners. I'm not necessarily a Bubba fan, but it's hard to root against him. Good guy.
Good round from DeLaet on day 2 shooting even par. Won't make the cut but he can build on the second round for next year and future Masters.
